PCV valve

Installed an RPM performer and edelbrock carb on my 93 engine. Trying to figure out what to do to hook up a PCV valve with the stock 93 valve covers. Saw an inline type at the local parts store but wonder if it would hurt performance as I don't know what engine it's from.

Do I need it first of all? The older V6 engine used a breather on one cover and the PCV was inserted into a grommet on the other cover.

How does the engine breath for the PCV as there is no breather on the other cover and no grommet on the other? Do I need different valve covers?

Thanks for any suggestions as I know zero about the PCV.

you need older valve covers if you cant find any with pcv provisions. install the grommetts, put a breather in one and the pcv in the other
