what controls how hard it blows out of vents?


doesnt blow out of dash vents at all and weakly blows out of defrosts, what could cause this?

Ok, then back to they are controlled by vacuum. As far as troubleshooting it, beats me, but I can give you this link to a diagram to show you how it is controlled. Maybe it will help you figure it out.

actually u may have just done it, i had the dash off a few days ago and do not remember seeing a lot of those

vacuum for sure. Sometimes the tube in the engine bay gets disconnected.

mine did the same thing, and the hose under the hood that runs across the fire wall was disconnected.

which hose? can you guys a be a little more specific?

theres about 4 or 5 hoses that run in that area

comming off the vaccum tree you will see 1 small line that is black it goes to the passanger side of the car then goes threw the fire wall into the car it feed vaccum to the controls

no, the color coded vacuum wires are under the dash - the ones in the engine compartment are black or gray normally. The yellow hose under the dash is the one that you need to check first - then under the dash.

Yeah, I was asking about the ones under the dash, but I guess you just confirmed they are indeed that color. That was the yellow one I was talking about.
