Biggest Tire And Rim Setup Possible

was wondering if anybody could tell me what are the biggest wheel and tire setup i can put on my 93 5.0 conv. lx. planning on changing over to the 5 lug 4.5" conversion. this is a street car and i want to put the biggest street tires on it possible without the tires rubbing on full lock to lock or hard conering, and without the wheels sticking out. and also planning on lowering it about an inch front and rear. it looks like i could go huge on the rear if that horizontal shock wasnt there. can anybody tell what that shock is. can it be removed or relocated closer to the center. i really like the fr500 deep dish wheels.

not sure on the biggest size you can go but that shock you are talking about is the quad shock. suppost to control wheel hop. take it off and replace the lower/upper control arms with good after market ones and your good to go with taking off the quad shocks and you can fit a bigger tire back there.

well i took the quad shocks off, took it for a test drive and didnt have a problem with wheel hop. although it spun the tires longer than with them on. i figured i could probly get 10.5x17" inch wheels on the back. but not to sure about the back spacing and offset i need.
