Hey I have a 1994 mustang gt 5.0 convertible. I wanted some input on what type of full exhaust from headers to mufflers i should get like what sounds good and what you guys like from experience of having it. Any sound clips would also be helpful.

well, it all depends on the sound you want. For the best performance, people have told me long tube headers. Then depending on emission testing or not, go with off road x of h (I prefer the x), then with mufflers you have many choices. LOUD: go with LOUD MOUTH LM1 or 2, or magnapacks. Classic sound: flowmaster 40 series are awesome too. As for sound clips. Type in mustang exhaust clips on google and there are many sites you can go to. Like i said, there are way too many combinations, please let us know what kind of sound you are looking for and then we can point you in the right direction.

I currently run flowmaster exhaust with BBK headers and No cats. I also threw in an X pipe. my one brothers friend has a 4.6 like yours and he has dynomax with an x pipe, before he removed the cats, it sounded great. but now that he removed them, its just noise noise noise and no distinct sound. id say go with flowmaster and see what you can do from there. Ill get a sound clip tomorrow for you for what mine sounds like.

IF u want ur car to sound mean get shorty headers with straight pipes and slp exhaust (street legal performance) or cherry bomb or flowmaster exhaust.
