No Mid-Range In Second

When I Launch My Car At The Track And Shift To Second it Falls On Its Face Til About 4500 RPM, But The Low End Of Second Is Fine For Street Use. Also I Think My Posi-Trac Is Messed. In The Burnout Box It Will Only Spin The Passenager Tire Unless I Pop The Clutch, Give It Some Gas And Then Let Off Abit Then Get Back Into It(While Having A Foot On The Brake Of Course). Also In Parking Lots When I Do Dounuts Both Tires Spin And Smoke
