First Run Tomorrow!

well, going to the drag strip tomorrow and will be running my car for the first time. Any tips? I have an aod practically all stock car. i dont really know how things work at a strip. I am keeping my stock tires on because that is all i have at the moment. Will i be spinning alot or is the track pretty sticky? i really do not know what to expect. I want to run it stock before i put the 4:10s in and tc, shift kit, and the many more parts to come. I start by holding the brake in and getting the rpms to bout 1500, then when i want to go i just let off the brake and floor it. Is there a better way at the track without a trans brake, because that is the only thing i can do now? Help!!!

tell them no water in the box...if they do it, put it in low, roll through the box completely, slam it for just a sec to knock the crap off, but youre street class so dont roll through the lights. as for take off, its all you can do with your set up. if you run more than one run, adjust your tire pressures...buy a battery operated compressor to adjust air pressures....radials usually run better around 38 psi, but you can try running low 20's to see what the difference is

So you are saying dont do a burnout? i will scope the scene more when i get there and i will ask many questions, but i want to know as much as i can before i get there.
