Heat / Air
my heat/air doesnt work i put a new fuse in and nothing...what else should i check, i believe its a wiring problem due to the melted plastic around the fuse location. the previous owner pulled the wires out of the fuse box and they are just kinda hangin there. please help its starting to get cold and i need a funtional defroster... damn new england weather

If there's melted plastic near a wire, chances are good that the wire burnt through and needs replaced. Try splicing it and trying the heater. If it works, fix it permanently.

the wires arent damaged the melted area it just around where that particular fuse was.

what else can i check to make my heat work,could i run i wire from the battey to one of the terminals from the fuse box to see if it goes on
