Is My Clutch Adjustable?
I have a 1995 GTand my clutch is sliping really bad, alot of people are telling me that it feels liek it is just out of adjustment... but i cant find anywhere to adjust it, and the clutch cable doesnt look adjustable, but i dont know.... any suggestions??

usually what ive been told is when your clutch starts slipping, you need a new one. stock clutch?

the only adjustment that I know of is on the side of the tranny where you can take up the slack of the cable as it streches over time. On stock setups I think that also can be done on a limited amount by lifting up on the clutch pedal. Neither of those adjustments can help a slipping clutch they are only for adjusting for freeplay in your pedal. You need a new clutch if it is slipping...

ya,i assumed that it needs a new one... and its not the stock clutch, the owner before me put one in and i dont have a clue what it is.... have any suggestions of the biggest and beefiest clutch that will fit in this transmission, i beleiv it is a t-5??

Clutch
CenterForce Dual friction is a good clutch. I purchased a eClutchmasters Stage II from Ebay and I love it. Stay away from a King Cobra clutch if you are puttin out any kind of power to the wheels.

You clutch cable should be self adjusting. Looks like you need a new clutch. and while your at it buy an adjustable clutch quadrant.

SPEC STAGE 1 IS A REALLY GOOD CLUTCH AS WELL. I THINK THEY RUN ABOUT 200$.
