any ford guys care to check out my camaro?

so im pretty bored right now, so i figured id throw up a few pictures of my big block camaro to see what the ford guys had to say about it.









Its a 1972 Camaro i bought it with a 406 small block chevy and th350 trans. Last winter i swapped a .060 over big block into it with a couple goodies, went low 11s in my dads car with horrible fuel and traction problems. just been working on it ever since, never ending, next project is the cage, new th400 trans and moser 9 inch rear end with 33 spline axels and 4.56 gears.

Hope your only going in a straight line!!! You say big block... 454? or crate motor ? 455? what is it. I myself like boosted small blocks but that ride is pretty sweet!!!

I say "Passion is Passion" If a man (or woman) loves their ride and is passionate about it. I for one will not diss that!!! (unless they are EURO Elitest pricks).

haha. thanks for the compliment. its a .060 over 427 big block out of a 69 vette. origional 427 435hp motor. since then it has a new crank, rods, new pistons about 13.5:1 compression, heads have been hog ported and polished, intake matched, holley dominator, custom grind comp cam, harland sharp valve trane, hedman headers, flowmaster mufflers, th350 trans with a cooler, B&M shifter, tci manual reverse valve body. Interior has stock seats with autometer gauges, car has a 4 inch glasstek cowl hood, weld draglites 15x3.5 fronts 15x8 backs with 315/60/15 (30x13.5-15) mickey thompson ET RADIALS and yada yada yada. hopfully it will be ready for the track come spring time.

i like to be diffrent. everyone and their mom has a 69 camaro, but you dont see as many 72-76s.

diffrent like a small block chevy mustang :wink

i just dont like that body style, but like i said the engine is awesome. I also dont like any of them til like the 93 either.

thanks. no unfortunatly about two weeks after getting it on the road the trans took a shit and i lost second gear, so im stuck with first and third, and ive jsut had other prioritys to spend money on like the foxs, but it will be ready to rock come spring time.

i actually hate the color of the car, it was that when i bought it, its going to be painted this chrylser inferno red color. should look good. im thinking about keeping the hood flat black though, i think it kind of sets it off or gives it attitude? maybe its just me.
