Strange Shocks

i just bought a set of the Strange 10 way adjustable struts & shocks. My question is has anyone bought these shocks? i have a 1993 notch and during the install I removed The old lakewoods that were on the car and went to install the Strange shocks and noticed the mounting bolt on the axle was a shanked bolt meaning there is no need for a sleeve in the shock bushing. The Lakewoods had no bushing and the Strange shocks do. I called Strange and I do have the right shock and the mounting bolt is stock. The guy said he has not herd of this, but I could press out the sleeve. If I did that the shocks would fit. Why the hell would they make the shock like that if the bolt on the axle of a Mustang is designed to act as the sleeve. Has anyone ever had to do this with the Strange adjustable shocks. I find it hard to believe that I have the only stang with that type of lower rear shock bolt...What gives?!!!
