A cobra meter will do him no good as its still calibrated for 19s, while the cobra ecm makes the adjustments for the injectors.
As for injectors stick with FRPP's and for a meter I like Pro-m or the SCT meters.

Ford Racing, Holley and Lucas are some good injectors. I'd be upgrading the fuel pump before the injectors though. The stock injectors will support more than the stock fuel pump.

+1.. I bought a Cobra MAF a couple of years ago not knowing that the calibration is in the computer not in the MAF electronics. Just wasted money.

i like the c&l maf so you just change the sample tube for larger injectors and ford injectors just my opinion

That is the sole reason i dislike them they rely on a mechanical means to offset the signal by actually changing the air volume that the electronics "see" (the sample tube).
Just not to reliable IMO.

/\ lot of tuners I've talked to say the C&L's aren't reliable. They produce a "dirty" signal thats tough to work with. The more guys I talk to who know what they're doing with an EEC, the more I hear about using P-MASS/Pro-M.

if your gonna keep your car mostly stock just go with a bigger fuel pump like a 190 and get an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and fuel gauge this way you can turn up the fuel pressure and get more out of the injectors. everyone (me included)goes with bigger injectors and new meter but that just tricks the computer and the fuel and timing curve are not where they should be and you will not get as much performance out of the car

the c&l housings are fine as long as u use your stock sensor in it.
during the tune they can calibrate your computer (via chip) for 24lb injectors
