More than likely what he is getting at when he asked if you use your fog lights a lot, is the factory wiring melts the headlight switch when you use the lights together for long periods of time. I would check the headlight switch to see if it looks melted. If not, I would also check the mfs. TMoss has a wiring diagram that shows the upgrade to keep this from happening.

Could be both but more than likely, it is just the switch, that is a common failure. To much current to run the headlights and fog lights and the switch overheats. Search around google or use the link above from TMOSS on how to power the foglights from a seperate circuit through a relay. There are different ways to do it but all do basically the same thing. I did mine all outside the car in the engine compartment.

i swapped the switch out with the one in my other mustang and it still does not work, the plug looks melted,so the wiring must be fryed, its weird cuz the headlight hi-beam works when you pull it but nothing else...

yes the high beams will work, its your Multi-Function Switch that melted thats the turn signal switch, you will need a new Headlight switch, and mulifunction switch, and the plug for the headlights that goes into the MFS will be melted.. just how mine was... the headlight and foglight switches have to touch each other electricity wise for them to work, soo the burnt/messed MFS switch will not return the fog light electricity to the headlights therefore no lights work besides the high beams which are compeltely different...

yes there is take it out.. the mfs switch and connect the headlight and the foglight wires together with electrical tape until you get it fixed but DO NOT turn on your foglights at all... seriously.. just your headlights
