on a stock 89LX body, and chassis what can be done fairly cost effectively to lighten it up. aside from removing the seats. I still have a front sway bar think i am gonna jerk that out... gonna go with draglite wheels... by the way if anyone has some 4 lug front draglites they wanna sell shoot me a pm.

a lot of good info here. No ac already, how hard is it to convert to manual rack steering? tubular k member is expensive. I was looking at the granatelli k member kit in jegs. i think i want to convert to coil over suspension. no smog pump either. 4" fiberglass hood will be here tomorrow hopefully. whats the story on the dynamat stuff.

i have had a lil experience with it because i did some subwoofer competitions and i had it put on the roof of my toyota because the subs were firing straight up and that would bounce the sound back down to keep the db's up some more.....but its a lot lighter than all of your insulation and it still keeps a lot of the sound out....you can get it at audio stores but thats probly not the cheapest place to find it
