Paint question...

First off, I dont spend much time in this section but I guess I will be more here soon. I had a 06 GT vert that I sold a few weeks back and now it back to my 91 GT that has been on the back burner for the last year and a half ( after I got the new one ). I have a 91 with a mile long list of mods. Now that Im dont building the motor ( till I get the itch for more power ) I need to get some fresh pain on here. How much do you think Im looking at to paint and have new seals put in around the windows? Im going to get an estimate but want a bargaining chip before I go.
Thanks for you help...

OK, to be a little more specific. My car has a staight body ( no body work needed ). This car is not a DD is just a fast toy, so Im not looking to get some exotic paint job on it. Just something that look presentable. I was thinking in the ball park of like 2k. Am I being realistic here or do I need to prepare myself for a shock when I go to get the estimate?

I wouldnt spend more than 2.5K on a solid color paint job ever. Plus the paint price depends on the Co. and Color - Example- Red is one of the most expensive colors.

if you are willing to drop 2k then you are gonna have a nice paint job. If its more than that, then that is just crazy.

Good deal. I had a feeling I was looking at more. Its a one color ( atlantic blue ) paint job, so hopefully I can get it done reasonably priced...
