Longtubes

What is the easiest and fastest way to install a pair of longtube headers on a 90 foxbody. Thanks

Posted in exhaust section too for those who like to complain about where a certain topic "should" be. But i don't get many answers there. Thanks

Take the stock headers off and put the new ones on....

How hard or easy depends on the type of header. Either way its not very hard. Make sure you take both motor mount nuts off so you can jack the motor up. That will make things alot easier. I'd put the front of the car on jackstands too.

You don't have to pull the motor. Just raise it up a bit. You can use a floor jack and a block of wood and jack on the harmonic balancer.

Who says they won't? It depends on the brand but most of them fit both.

Headers are tedious to put on. Plan lots of time 3-4 for the install depending on the make of the header.

Depends on the car and engine. Put longtubes on my 68 302 by myself in a couple of hours and I was screwing around. Took me and a buddy about 6-7 hours to install them on my Mach. I can't see that it would be extremely difficult install on a Fox.

Couple hours on a fox body. Maybe 3 hours if you have to run to the store to get more beer.

Not sure I understand your question, but what I offered was pretty self explanatory, it is a how to step by step on how to install headers, I thought that was what you wanted when this post started???

These headers are probably about the cheapest headers in the world. I am sure that installation would of been easier with another brand, but you are probably in the same financial situation as me with your college expenses, so the choice is yours. I paid about $125, and had some headaches, or you can spend $300-400. Depends on your budget
