powder coating question

i was just gonna do FM 40's dumped (cause i already have them) but i've decided that i want the pipes coming out of the back. i want them to be black though. is powder coating expensive, and will it hold up against the heat generated by exhaust?

Why would you want your pipes to be black? Are you just talking about the pipes or the tips as well. Chrome or polished looks better IMO>

just the tips, not the whole thing. and i think the black will be badass. and thanks for answering my question with another question.
