Good info. I'm running a stock short block w/the Holley Systemax kit and F cam and my dyno figures are what Holley advertises w/their kit.

I hear dynojets are not accurate? True or false?

All chassis dynos vary based on many variables. Chassis dynos are a nice tuning piece provided no variables change during the tuning session. On a chassis dyno you can have X number of horsepower today and come back tomorrow and the number can be way different. Its not limited to Dynojet or any other specific chassis dyno, its all of them.

Nice info. Think about it, they are testing each mod on a bone stock 5.0 by themselves. Mods work with other mods.

Metaphor from a similar post: "It's like being naked and going out in the cold; just socks, Freezing; just underwear, freezing; just a jacket, freezing; etc. But ware all of those things at the same time, now you are very warm and comfortable." Get it?

So you are implying that a set of underdrive pullies will add more horsepower on an engine that has a set of Trick Flow heads on it than they will on engine with stock heads? False. That is true for some parts that are designed to work together but not for simple things like underdrive pullies and such.

That's what I meant. Bolt-ons like heads, intake, exhaust.

I see you edited the part about being flamed but I will respond to it anyway. You got flamed in that other thread because you were wrong, not because you weren't specific. Same thing in this case. Underdrive pulleys don't care what heads are on the car or what intake is on the car. A camshaft however does. So yes you are correct in regards to parts of the over all combination that are designed to work together but other items like underdrive pulleys are not effected by other parts.

I'd noticed that. That's why I deleted the part about getting flamed. I understand. Under drive pulleys work by themselves, not with other mods, like you mentioned.
