Power door lock actuator help please.

There is no actuator inside the door, I'm assuming previous owner of my 89 gt took them out. I can't figure out how the pin on top of the actuator fits into the lock mechanism to lock and unlock the doors. The original mounts are still in the door, and I've installed the smallest pin on top of the actuator. Anybody have a door assembly diagram or a picture of an actuator already installed? Actuators from both doors are removed so I have nothing to go by. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I'm getting frustrated.
