Running Lean
What makes a car run lean than the obvious not enough gas issue. The car has a 255 pump 40lb injectors, adjustable fuel pressure and I pulled a plug because I saw some whitesh smoke and the plugs show the engine is running lean.

Plugs from an EFI car on unleaded gas are difficult at best to determine A/F ratio from. Besides, the car may be idling with an A/F ratio as high as 17:1 and that is what the fuel tables specify.
The only real way to know if your car is running lean by getting it on a dyno or installing a wideband O2.
