Gt40 heads (can i run 13's)
my uncle is going to find me some gt40 heads because he lives in las vegas and was going to find some out there
if i port them do you think i can run 13's i have no idea what i run now mods = - Ford 302 Windsor Small Block (40,000+ miles on block) - Ford Racing Camshaft (not sure which letter lol) - Stock Heads - Edelbrock Intake Manifold - Edelbrock 650CFM Carb - Ford 3.73 Gears + Auburn 8 inch Possi - C4 Transmission with Trans Go Shift Kit |

you should be able to run a high 13 now

should go very high 12's or low 13's. I have a set of gt40p heads with some work done to it and i have a AOD trans so far with no tune ive been 13.14 @104 with junk yard tires.

with you driving it will do approximately 18.2 @ 75mph

With what you have now I wouldn't be shocked if you went 13.5 ish maybe better.heads would with some rockers and you'll be in the 12's.

no my motor is from a foxbody (i believe 1984)
and the curb weight for fastbacks was like 3200 but i don't have any Air conditioning or anything like that so yea |

im almost in the 13s and i dont even have gears, with my gears ill be in the 13s for sure

C4's are foriegn to me so I'm not sure how efficient they are so maybe someone who knows them could correct me if I'm wrong here, but I don't think 13's should be a problem on street tires with those heads, at all. It would help if you knew which cam you have, though.

you should see some 13s man, i have them and ran mid 13s launching at idle and my car was loosing power on the top end.

I just seen a guy on another forum break into the 11s high 11s but still 11s LOL. Using stock internals and block with gt40s.

Yeah, there are alot of guys that seem to be in the 12s with a similar combo. 11s is just awesome!

my dads going to run my car at the track and he used to race professionally
he said he should be able to get my car easily into 13's although not on my POS street tires |
