Should I Get New Headers

Hey i have a 86 t top but the motor is a 92 and some people said that is should get new headers and other people say headers don't really add any performance to the car

also im 17 and this is my second car but my first mustang so i could use some advice

later

headers do help performance

Get some long tubes, they help create more torque. Then upgrade the rest of the exhaust accordingly.

get gt40p heads then have a reason for new headers

im pretty sure im rocking the stock exhast from 86
but im thing about get thios kit right here

one reason is because i need new muflers and the second reason is that i think that the exhast leaving from the sides might be a little added look to it

somone else here was lookin at those... ill tell you the same, you get what you pay for, i know of a few ppl who had fitment issues with the summit headers, if you dont mind modifying somthing to make it fit go for it, otherwise spend a lil extra for quality
