does a cobra intake add hp?


how much does a cobra intake add I'm looking at polished ones I want to try to keep it ford so will I see a difference ?

Cobra will give you better low end torque IIRC, it is a very nice intake IMO. If you get the lower ported it can support a good amount of power.

well I don't really have any engine mods I like the look and was hopping to see more power will it still make more with my stock throttle body ?

dont drop 400 on a new cobra intake, get an explorer one (like me and most people) same numbers and shit, and i def noticed a difference

Maybe 10 horsepower if you have your fingers crossed.

they look alright, with alright gains,... i would go with a systemax if your spending money, or explorer ones if your on a budget

WHY DO YOU WANT IT TO LOOK STOCK? AND LAST TIME I CHECKED THE COBRA INTAKE DOES NOT LOOK LIKE THE FACTORY PIECE.

actually, yolu will losse some bottom end torque and gain up top - still worth doing if you want a different intake.

If you have some tolls and skills, you can port your stock intake and get the same flow as a stock Cobra and make the same or more power - I have a do-it-yourself porting guide for both upper and lower on my website.
