The 96 or early 97 Explorer intakes have the same internal EGR passages (even though it used external ERG) if you need to stay emissions legal. mid-late 97 up have intakes with no internal EGR passage.

65mm TB can be converted easily to the Mustang, the 19# injectors are a straight across swap.

ok, for my next couple of questions.. Stock gt injectors are not 19#?

what needs to be done to install the explorer tb to work

and if im not worried about smog, how do i go about using the exploder intakes and doing away with egr..?

or can egr bolt directly to 96/97 intake thus allowing me use egr still.

and last but not least, will i notice any positive feedback doing and egr delete? (throttle responsiveness, gas mileage etc

You can use the 96 intake just like an HO intake with minor exception - the ACT in the #5 runner has to be drilled (19/32" or 9/16" will do) and tapped (3/8" NPT) to acceptr the ACT or you can extend the wiring and mount the ACT in the plastic section of the TB intake tube. Instruction for converting the TB for use on a Fox are on my website in the tech section.

yes and yes.

If you had the equipment and skills, a ported stock intake is a better match for E7, Ported E7, stock GT40 or Gt40P heads for a street/strip combo in my opinion.
