89 gt mods?

Hey guys I have a 89 gt manual. bone stock I was wondering if any of you guys had some info on which build I should do for my desire. I already know about exhaust and CAI (Long tubes or shortys?) I want to have a 450ish rwhp car. When I take it to the track I want to lift the front wheels off the ground. Just speak your mind on what I should do to get there. My car has 89,000 miles on it. Not too sure if it's speed density or not.

heh. Do a little searching...your gonna need a nice suspension if u plan on doing some wheel stands. with that goal your going to need forced induction of more cubes.

89's have a MAF setup. What kind of budget do you have?

im real tight on money right now but im about to get oh say about 700 or so im guessing by the end of july

I just put a set of BBK Shorties and an EGR delete today and as soon as I get my rebate check 3.73's and suspension parts.

Yeah the Dipstick tube was a pain in the ass but other than that it was easy. Sounds better and runs alot better.

It sounds deeper like theres more done than is, got them off a buddy for $50.

450rwp with 3 grand isn't going to happen without nitrous, unless you find a smoking deal on something. Sure, you might be able to find a used set of heads and a used supercharger for that, but then you need the supporting mods to go with it, get it tuned, and upgrade your suspension.. making all that power is usless if you can't put it to the ground. You are going to be well over that budget if you want to make that reliably and plant it to the ground.

Bout' how much boost do people with superchargers run on these 5.0's? How do you change the boost on a supercharger incase I wanna go bigger on down the road.
