Compression Question
ok...Im looking at getting a st of gt40p's this weekend...the thing is they are milled .060 I was wondering what the compression bump would be...and if i would still be alright running the juice with the upped compression.

i offer no help with the juice, but it probably bumped your compression up to 10.5:1 if you dont have high compression pistons.
i think for every .03 its milled, it ads .05 Last edited by R0B0T; April 29th, 2008 at 03:54 PM. |

It doesn't matter what compression ratio you have for nitrous. As long as you have enough fuel and pull a little timing, you will be fine.

+1 Nitrous isnt affected like boost when it comes to compression. Just make sure your tune is on and you will have no problems.

I don't think you will be near 10-1 with the heads milled like that. Just be careful because when they mill a ton off the heads sometimes the intake wont fit properly.
