Something wrong. Please HELP!

I have an 88 GT and I relaced the TFI module twice only a few hundred miles ago. The car is now having the same problems by cutting out, and sometimes just not starting. SO do I replace it again or could a bad distributor be causing all of this? Please help!

Pull your codes and see what it tells you. You may have a bad ECT or ACT

Thank you, but I don't know what ECT or ACT means or are.

ECT is your Engine Coolant Temp Sensor and ACT is the Air Charge Temp Sensor. It helps the engine computer to regulate various ignition, fuel and emission control functions, and to turn the radiator-cooling fan on and off as needed. The Air Charge Temperature (ACT) sensor is a thermal transistor, which means it allows less electricity to pass through the sensor the warmer it gets. It receives the “Signal Return” voltage from the EEC, and then allows a certain amount to return back to the EEC.
