Aeromotive


Are the aeromotive a1000 fuel pumps loud

tad not too bad your pipes will more than likely drowned out the pump noise

That was just a question i have always had, I am running dumped super 40's so im sure it wont be heard

Ok, let's answer that question more accuratly than pipes drowning out sound. Are they loud?, No as there are 4 guys here that run at the local track has them. They are not loud to my ears. A Real filter and good flow and beleive it or not, good gas like good ol 93 with some 101 race fuel will keep that sucker purring and running everyday like you just jacked it from the shelve.

^ If you are running open headers like me, hell no it aint loud. shit, my stock pump sound like a butterfly buzzing compared to my pipes LOL

its pretty loud but you'll only hear it when you turn the ignition on and then start the car and you will never hear it

The submerged version is about as quiet as the stock pump. The external version makes some noise, but just as Randal said, once you fire the car up, its almost in-audiable to your ears.

If you use rubber isolators (like the ones MSD uses for thier ign boxes and coils) they are very quiet.
