Help Intake Manifold

I am getting an upper and lower intake manifold, but not sure which to get. here's my option, you guys tell me which is best. I have to do EGR.

1. Holley Systemax II Ford 5.0L EFI Manifolds (upper & lower)
2. Performer 5.0, Intake Manifold (Edelbrock w/Intake Manifold Base)

Cylinder Heads:

I should get Complete Assembly?

but.... what does it comes with complete.

if you know or can link me to a site that have a complete HCI, kit to work with either of the upper and lower intake, please let me know.
thanks

The Systemax is a nice intake. Alot of guys are making good numbers with that intake. Complete heads would be the way to go. You just have to make sure the valve springs will work with the cam you choose. If you are using a stock bottom end go with the Trick Flow twisted wedge heads. They are the only head out there that runs a 2.02 intake valve that most of the time doesn't have any valve to piston clearance issues with stock pistons. They also come in CNC ported versions with either a 185cc runner or a 205cc runner. A fool proof combination is a set of twisted wedge heads, Trick Flow part number 5142001 cam and either the Holley Systemax intake or a Trick Flow Track Heat intake. That set up will make around 310 or so horsepower at the wheels thru a manual transmission.

Sorry I missed the cam. I am also doing the cam. This car is a summer drive car. I dont want a rought idle but a decent cam. I am also doing a turbo down the line. So I'll have to get a set of complete heads, I actually was thinking the heads from Holley also.
Holley Heads:
Small Block Ford Cylinder Head
Valve Angle: 17º
Intake Runner Volume: 165cc
Combustion Chamber Volume: 63cc
Intake Valve Diameter: 1.90"
Exhaust Valve Diameter: 1.60"
Pedestal Rocker Mounts
Maximum lift: .600"

and also a cam from jegs. (or if there's a better from from there.
I actually got $3500 to spent, its a gift card for jegs.com so all parts has to be from there.
I was also thinking the system max. I'll do that. But I'm new at this and dont want to get a set a heads and cam and down the line have to change it when I get a turbo. If you can find a better one that the Holley on jegs.com dude i'll really appericate it. and also thinking about the B CAM (397-M-6250-B303K)

I am heading for a goal of 350 rwhp for now. 310 sounds pretty good for the setup, anything else that I can add to bump it up alittle?
Thanks alot.

What I recomended will give you around 310 or so. With a turbo that will jump considerably. 350 at the wheels will be a bit more complicated with a 302. The Holley heads will probably get you close to that mark too. Stay far away from the Ford Racing alphabet cams. They are 20 year old technology that shouldn't even be on the market anymore. A Comp Cams 249-35-518-8 (Xtreme Energy XE274HR Hydraulic Roller Camshaft Only Lift: .555''/.565'' Duration: 274°/282° RPM Range: 2200-6200)hydraulic roller cam would compliment the package nicely.

Combustion Chamber Volume: 63cc
Intake Valve Diameter: 1.90"
Exhaust Valve Diameter: 1.60"
ARP® Rocker Studs
Maximum lift: .600"

Head, intake, valve cover, timing chain and header gaskets will be needed. New head bolts, do yourself a favor and get ARP bolts. Get a good timing set, not a local auto parts store stock replacement. You will most likely need roller rockers with those heads and will have to find out if the stud size is 3/8 or 7/16. The customer service rep can help you with everything you need.

How about this for the gasket set:
jegs part#: 720-4410

Includes two valve cover gaskets, intake gasket set, oil pan gasket set, water pump gasket set, timing chain cover gasket, and a fuel pump gasket
