BBK Clutch Quad install question

Hello,

I have a 87 5.GO and I purchased a BBK cable/quad. The quad has two holes in it. I know the center hole go on the main shaft but the question is: The second hole, does it go on the shaft the stock plastic adjust came off of or does it just sit on top of that shaft?

when i installed mine, i just put it on the main shaft using the larger hole then locked with the cotter pin clip. I don't think u need anything from the old one. some one else will probably give u some better info.

Ok, got it on but it is hard as H... to push in the clutch. I do not believe I will not be able to physically drive the car like this. I believe if I adjust the adjuster a the firewall that set the pedal hight. If I ajust the cable at the fork will that soften the pedal? right now I do not have much slack at the fork end.
