U Joints?
When I place the Tranny in "R" I get a hard Clunk. No hard clunk when I place it in Drive?
Normal ? U joints? Thanks, Robert

Sounds like it could be that, could also be in the rear end. Best thing to do is get under the car and feel for play in the driveshaft.

I was curious why it only does it when I put the car in Reverse, and not Drive.............. Things that make you go hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

could be u joints does the car vibrate at all when your driving it or make a moaning sound at all?

  It is a Mustang, not sure I would know what to do if it didn't vibrate........................No moaning, unless thew Mrs. is along for the ride, oh wait, that is bitching and moaning, my bad.................
