Cam with no PTV clearance issues
I just bought a set of trick flow twisted wedge heads w/ scorpion 1.6 rockers, currently I am running MAC l/t 1 3/4 to 3in collectors, prochamber and dumps, GT-40 upper/lower 70mm t/b AFM powerpipe C&L 76mm MAF and 24lb inj. and smog and a/c delete. What is the best cam for my set up w/ a T-5 and a stock short block that wont smash my valves, also will I need diff pushrods?

Call Cam Motion for a custom grind, or any other cam company you like. I would also get the lower on the GT-40 ported to match your heads.

With that being said, any of the Trick Flow cams and all of the Comp Cams Xtreme grinds should fit but you will need to check clearance after you install the cam to be sure.

Also, the TW heads require 6.700 pushrods.

Im looking to build a good street car for right now, I dont care about idle quality in fact the lumpier the better, I have a Dart block punched and stroked to 363 that is gonna get a Kenne Bell, but thats later on down the road, I just want something right now to drive around that can put up some decent numbers, I was looking at the alphabet cams, the TFS ones and the comp ones, I am afraid of having more bark than bite.

fords letter cams are ok but outdated, comp xe cams are great.. get a cam that will complimenet ya forced induction so ya wont need a new cam latter..usually up to about 500 lift and 220"s in duration at 50 are good on street..but again i recommend check ya ptv first ,then ya know for sure ya clearance and what wide range of lift and duration u can have at any time you want a new cam

Why would you use a gt40 intake on a 363 ci stroker? |
