Ever feel like your rear wheel was gonna fly off?!?!

I have yet another problem with the car I purchased...it has a richmond locker in the rear and 31 spline axles and while breaking in the engine the first few hundred miles, it seemed to be working fine. Tonight I was on my way to the track and when ever I turn right or jump on the gas a bit , the car wants to pull right and the left side wheel/axle makes a loud metal bang and it scares the shit out of me... Did I break the damn thing already I checked all the suspension parts and they are intact and tight. Anybody? All ideas welcome !!!

Are your tires inflated equally? Unequally inflated bias ply tires can make a car pull hard to one side and make the diff work overtime.

Yeah they are the same inflation, I just talked to a guy with one and he said they do that, and if thats the case I don't I don't like it. It is real loud and it pulls the car to the right. What wheel is the one that takes most of the power from a stock rear end, the right.?

I was looking at maybe getting an Eaton rear, does anyone have any suggestions on that. I have 31 spline axles, and 373 gears and I want something to limit my wheel spin and don't want to deal with the locker thing again I don't think.

anyone ever deal with GearsAreUs.com ? They seem to have decent prices.

What makes the Auburn Pro better than the Eaton or vise versa?
