Eaton or Auburn rear?

Tomorrow I am going to place an order for a rear and I want to know what everyone likes and or has. I was looking at either the Auburn Pro or Eaton one so far ,unless anyone has any other suggestions. Thanks....

lol...I am buying a new rear because yesterday I threw my Richmond locker into many small pieces....and it was annoying to drive on the street or I would get a new one. You guys know where to get one at the best price, summit or I found this site...i think it is GearsAreUs.com, I have 31 splines. I would do it the cheap way but for what, I want a good rear that is going to last.

Interesting. I never had any issues with my Auburn. Even with 500+lb/ft of torque!

i wish i had your luck . i know of a few other people that had problems with theres also but i haven't heard anything bad about the eaton posi or the trutrack. i just hate spending money twice on something thats should have held up thats why i didn't go with the aulburn again

Must have been the runts of the litter. Most guys i know have used Auburn Pro's and loved them. Ive heard of, and seen failures with Auburns, but then again ive seen just about every other diff and rear end fail. It just depends what your using it for, and how it was built.
