More Power less money?
I was wondering what are the best ways to get power out of a 1991 5.0?? I already have MSD Ignition and distributer and flower masters with Cats...What are the next steps??

there really is no point in nitrous unless you are going to be going to the track every weekend using it
otherwise your doing bad things with it

+1 on gears they wont give u more power but it will put better use to the power u have.
if its a manual get a pro 5.0 or steeda shifter asap subframe connectors off road h or x pipe intake manafold headers suspension then u can gut the bigger things like heads cam nitrous exc...the spending is endless...welcome to the fastest,most frusturating and most fun money pit of your life!! pretty much all the bolt ons. get gears then once u can launch without spinning then do some upgrades to the power. work with what you got then build from there, or be like me and have a butt load of power but still cant beat a stock 5.0 cause i cant put it to the ground. now i have to play catch up on my traction.... SPINNIN AIN'T WINNIN!!!

gears- richmond, motive, yukon, ford racing
short throw shifter- steeda, mgw, pro-5.0, hurst sub-frame connectors shocks, struts, springs cold air intake headers o/r mid-pipe and little things like doing a tune up, setting the timing, putting synthetic fluids in it... trust me mine is just a decent cam, rocker arms, right timing, full ignition and good fuel system..and mine will spin all the way through 3rd gear with ease with stock 2:73 gears...spinning isnt winning..get it to the ground...control arms, strut tower brace, better tires...get traction then get more power..everytime you spin spend less on power and more on planting it..work power up together with traction...traction can be your best friend

nitrious is increased power at a given time therefore its only use is really racing which belongs at the track
