have you figured out all of the specs on the motor compression wise yet? or did you just order a set of heads?

and why are you getting them ported right now? I would have chosen a cnc ported tw head but the vic jr's are nice heads

yeah true...these heads along with the stock intake hold back the 302 EFI setup SOOO badly...true with the E7's ported or not will not gain the 70hp or so from the 347 stroker kit...

he will make good power if its built right, and will make most of its power in the upper rpm range.

not junk but its not gunna make great power! the ecam is good for stock heads and intake i guess..gt40 stuff is cool if you wanna run mid to high 12's..if your gunna do a 347 dont sell that motor out so quickly..get good aluminum heads, better intake with better flowing runners, nice cam and other stuff..its not junk just 90% of the aftermarket is better

I think a GT40 upper and lower would be fine, or at least not the first bottleneck. If you plan on spending more money, do it elsewhere first. The GT40 is capable of producing equal or more torque under 5000-5500 then most intakes, even on a 347.

To me you are wasting your money building a 347 with those parts. Everything you listed would make for a mild 302 set up, definately not parts to build a 347 with.

Here is a list of parts that would get ya in the 400RWHP Area. Throw in a 100 shot and youve got one fun street car.

10:1 compression
AFR 185 Comp heads add in Upgraded springs and Titanium retainers
Custom cam...FTI, Jay Allen, Buddy Rawls
Systemax, TFS R
42#s
80mm MAF
75MM t-body
