ditch the e cam get a coustom grind or a TFS stage 2
Trick Flow Track Max Hydraulic Roller Camshafts for Ford 5.0L: TFS-51402001 - trickflow.com what heads are poreted and polished? e7's? gt40s? with that combo i would say right around 300 to the wheels

yes. heads and gears are gonna be the 2 things u notice the most. u can find a set of used trickflow heads for around 800.00 get new gears. but before any of this u should get some subframe connectors and dont cheap out on them get some good ones cause that is gonna keep your body stright a twisted frame and ur gonna wish u would have spent the extra 100 to get some good ones.

cause i told him to get better heads too. i really dont see the need for a coustom grind on a smaller application like mine and his but its always an option and if i say get the trickflow someone will chime in with "no get a coustom grind" so i figured i would stay 1 step ahead

If your running ported E7s, you might be lucky to see 300rwhp. Those heads are severely choking the shyt out of that engine. Get a better set of heads, and a cam to match the rest of the combination.

I agree with installing subframe connectors, but the through floor ones are a huge PITA and will cost a lot to have installed. If you are going to do that, I would be doing a cage at the same time since you have to remove the entire interior.
Anyway +1 on recycling the stock heads and buying aluminum.

Yeah i understand its 45ci more, but with those junky heads, he wont see the gain from the displacement like he should. Heads will make or break a stroker. Infact, any engine for that matter.
