yes. heads and gears are gonna be the 2 things u notice the most. u can find a set of used trickflow heads for around 800.00 get new gears. but before any of this u should get some subframe connectors and dont cheap out on them get some good ones cause that is gonna keep your body stright a twisted frame and ur gonna wish u would have spent the extra 100 to get some good ones.

cause i told him to get better heads too. i really dont see the need for a coustom grind on a smaller application like mine and his but its always an option and if i say get the trickflow someone will chime in with "no get a coustom grind" so i figured i would stay 1 step ahead

If your running ported E7s, you might be lucky to see 300rwhp. Those heads are severely choking the shyt out of that engine. Get a better set of heads, and a cam to match the rest of the combination.

I agree with installing subframe connectors, but the through floor ones are a huge PITA and will cost a lot to have installed. If you are going to do that, I would be doing a cage at the same time since you have to remove the entire interior.

Anyway +1 on recycling the stock heads and buying aluminum.

okay well first that cams good for 0 hp...custom grind is a cool idea, but crower, crane and comp cams all make decent off the shelf cams, but they all do also make decent custom grinds..you really dont need "forged everything" cuz a cast crank will do fine, but forged rods are good idea. idk why you think you need 1.7's? i kinda wanna know why? and the stock cobra rocker arms are prob gunna run you the same amount as some nicer 1.7's from crane that are aluminum.+1 to aluminum heads, like a some twisted wedge's but like i say if your gunna go better than a cobra intake go with some 185cc heads from AFR, edelbrock etc..cobra intake is a decent intake for like a 302 or 306, but with the 347 i really would say systemax, performer rpm II or trick flow track heat intake would be better suited for more power. i'd say 30lb injectors if doing better heads, intake and nice cam...bbk underdrive pullies are slip on and are pointless..march makes some good ones..screw that cold air, bbk/MAC cai work fine, but anderson motorsports make a damn good cai..bbk lt's and x-pipe are fine...tune should be done professionally...i wouldnt deal with a stupid chip or programmer..get it dyno tuned...MY 2cents...

but its 45ci more..and the rest of the parts might actually land him in the 300hp range..would be a sluggish 300hp but its still 300hp

in order to get it tuned u have to get it chipped these computers cannot be flashed. unless u are talking about the off the shelf chips. then it that case yes dont get that get a coustom burned chip for your car..

Yeah i understand its 45ci more, but with those junky heads, he wont see the gain from the displacement like he should. Heads will make or break a stroker. Infact, any engine for that matter.
