Need help


hey guys i need some help ive got my motor in my car and got it cranked my problem is that its running so rich it will run you out of the shop i have 24 pound injectors and a c&l 76mm mass air im running a professional products upper and lower and a 70mm egr spacer ive just put my stock throttle body on for now till i get the money for a new one i figured it would at least run i havent timed the car with the timing light but ive got it close by ear the car wont even hardley move its self it also pops back through the intake ive unplugged the mass air to see if theres a diffrence but there isnt any do you think my mass air electronics is bad or maybe my o2 sensors oh yeah i should add i havent got any emissions on this thing i just have the egr on the spacer just to plug the hole no smog pump or cats if you guys have any ideas or need to know anything else i would appreciate it thanks guys

It might not be running rich. A too lean condition causes improper combustion wich can cause a rich "smell". The "perfect" combustion condition is the one that dosen't smell like fuel.

sounds like wrong firing order?? and get a timing light

i checked the firing order its right by what the chilton manual says my friend bringing his timming light tommorow so we can get it just right and maybe track down the problem its running so bad right now it burns my eyes and wont hardley pull itself do you have anymore ideas what it could be
