went and bought a taurus fan...
it came out of a SHO and when i got it back and looked at pics on the internet it doesnt look the same. can i just hook up the larger fan and it will be fine?
and does anyone know what the harness coming off the top near the center it for? i planned on taking it off but i was wondering. thanks

just cut the wires that go to the fan motor tie em together put some 10gauge wire going to them from a relay that turns on with the car or hook it up to a temp sensor from autozone they are about $40 and your set. test the wires on a battery to make sure u dont mix it up cause on way the fan will suck and the other way it will blow..

I say do it like the real cars hook it direct to the battery and then run a toggle switch to it by the steering wheel

i did it this winter moving my car into the garage to work on it.
packed snow and 351 foxs dont mix very well, especially uphill with no fan on. luckilly the only thing that happened was antifreeze came out of the overflow
