can't hate on porsches being I'm german but I can only get down on the 911's Carreras an GT's. Other than that Mustangs all the way. I think a nice fox body looks hella sexier than a porsche.

Yes they did..... its the Canadian GT. I have never seen or heard of someone having one on any of the boards I have been on.

A Canadian Mustang GT is exactly that...a GT. Sorry. My friend had a Mustang GT that he purchased up in Canada and the heads are NOT GT40. We looked at many other aspects of what seperates a Cobra from a GT ie..bigger intake, GT-40 heads, bigger cam..etc.
The SVT Cobra Has;
1.7 Roller Rockers
Cobra Upper and Lower Intake
65mm throttle body & EGR
24 Lb Injectors
Maf calibrated for 24lb Injectors
Different Computer
GT40 (not P) Heads
2.95 First gear in the transmission & phosphate covered bearing for more torque capacity
Rear Disc brakes
Bigger brake master cylinder
Cobra specific camshaft
3.08 rear end gear instead of 2.80 (GT)

Below is an excellent dpiction of the differences between Canadian GT's to American GT's...and the Canadian GT is nowhere near (mechanically speaking) an authentic SVT Cobra

It was very apparent that this Canadian GT...and not an actual Cobra. The first "authentic SVT Cobra came out in 1993. Their are endless articles on the internet that support the fact. I'll take my 1993 Vortech-supercharged Cobra (rated at 586 hp to the rear wheel) and wipe up the canadian GT before topping out in 2nd gear.

I know its not an SVT.... It is Canada's GT. There are a few differences between an American GT and a Canadian the motor isn't one of them. I just thought it was cool to meet someone that had one.

for anyone trying to understand the fox cobra from canada please thing of that car in this regard. The canadian GT and COBRA cars are different in this aspect...

that is all... your 93 SVT COBRA was the starting block for a huge aftermarket backup and the SVT division. Your cobra is highly saught after and worth big coin. Ours is nothing more then a GT.
