Question

86 mustang bodykits


i have been looking around on some sites and i cant really find and hoods scoops or front bumpers for my 86gt t-top. i would like to try to get a nice looking hood scoop even though it might not do any thing for the proformenc but what i still want it or some

so any one got any sites or something , i would like it

i'm with these guys. don't put some non-functional scoop on your car. a cowl hood would look much better. throwing a scoop on a hood just screams "Uncle Ben's" to me.

here's a pic of mine. i think the hood looks good.

would that fit if i got a the hood u guys are saying i should get

I'm pretty sure thats just the stock hood with gt painted onto it.

i thought some mustangs came from the factory with that hood graphic on it. but i wasnt around enough to remember what a stock fox looks like

and i agree with the cowl hood on an 86. my 83 has the 86 lx front end and a cowl hood and i think it looks pretty good, especially for being homemade. it just needs some finishing and paint

i like the clean lines of a stock fox with a cowl hood, but if you HAVE to have a body kit then i say go with a saleen kit

some of the mustang from 84 to 86 could get the gt decal but it cost extra back in the day
its kind of like get the stripe on a brand new gt, it doesnt come with it put u could pay more and get on

i like a gt scoop from a 82 gt on my 86 ,,cowls are nice,but thats what every1 gets,,stand out..besides cowls dont work much unless you at higher speeds very well... i like the muscle car look of a scoop..but i have a factory scoop on mine..

i wonder how a shaker hood would look on a fox. there used to be a couple companies that made them for the fox but not anymore
