Stuttering Stang

My 89lx has been running sweet up until the other day it decided it wanted to talk back to me. I will run it up to like 5800rpm in first and shift normaly and as soon as i step back in it, it falls on it's face like ignition or something. this only happens for a split second and then it's like wham!!! it kicks back in and runs good. I was just wondering if anyone had some ideas on what to check. It has a new ICM, cap, rotor.. Is it possible that it's fuel related or maybe have to do with my TPS???

My friends car did that it ended up being his mass air was dirty or atleast thats what the guy who worked on it said it ran great after he cleaned it

hey try cleaning your IAC (idle air control), Mass air sensor, and clean out everything from your filter to your IAC. try that it worked for me
