OK dude, you need a 60 mm turbo at best, that will be enough to support 550-600 hp to the wheels.

Second, to stay out of boost during normal driving, you use a bypass style BOV referenced to a vacuum source. So whenever you are not at WOT the boost will be bypassed back to the inlet side. When you open it up the bypass snaps shut (no more vacuum to hold it open) and you have boost.

Why would you have a huge ass cam on a turbo car?

But anyway they are adjustable with a spring.

The vacuum reference goes from negative pressure holding the bypass open to positive pressure (under boost) holding it closed under boost. So even if you have no vacuum it would still work in theory, you just need to adjust the spring to the right pressure to hold it open.

Usually cams that tighter profiles and less intake/exhaust overlap make more power on turbo cars since the exhaust has a lot of back pressure and no scavenging effect.

The stock EFI cam actually works pretty well in turbo cars.

+1

A good 70mm turbo and a stock cam, on pump gas, will easily make more than enough hp to split a stock block.
