carb spacer


which carb spacer will add more power to a 351

a open spacer or a taperd spacer

the engine has an aluminum intake and a 600cfm holly carburetor

if you have spike tv watch horsepower tv tomorrow morning. it will be a rerun of today. they talked alot about carbs and spacers. on the dyno engine they used the spacers didnt make any HP since they already had a highrise intake.

with ford motors you dont want to run a open square bore you want the one with the four holes. The open square causes a swirling in the center of the intake and causes hesitation. This comes from my instructor that work for 15 years on ford racing.
