taking off mufflers

What are the possible problems I could see if I ran with no mufflers for a while?

Hacksaw or Dremel would work but those bolts will break off with a ratchet/breaker bar and a good 6 point socket. That is quicker and easier than cutting them. A long enough cheater pipe on the end of a ratchet and a 6 point socket will loosen or break anything off!

I know some people run with just the h pipe but most people that try it go back to mufflers. Its cool at first but gets real annoying. I got sick of turndowns after the muffler and went back to complete exhaust.

I chopped mine off a couple weeks ago and I have to admit I feel slightly more power but a very slight lose of torque. I freakin love it though. I'm running pratcially open header right now and before anybody says anything.... Cops do not stop me because around here, they love see'ing/hearing hot rods round herrrr. Yes I pass the mall the time and NO I don't clutch in just as they are passing me.

I currently have no mufflers, the h-pipe is just dumped and it is really loud... It gets annoying, and the drone is horrible. I WILL be putting mufflers on my car very soon. I havent had any problems with cops... yet, but if I were you I would just keep your flowmasters that you have now.

straight pipes are cool from stop sign to stop sign, redlight to redlight. but on highways and long country roads, the drone will make you beat your head off the dash to make the sound go away

Another thing with just using the H-pipe... you may get a little sleepy while waiting at red lights..
