358w/GT40 Heads/302 Intake Question

As you saw in the title, I will be getting a 358ci/351w and a pair of GT-40 heads(Not P's or X's) just GT40.

My question for those who have done this or tested(Experienced not"What I've seen or heard") is will the GT40 heads bolt up to the 351w.

Next is IF the gt40 heads bolt up, will my 302 lower intake bolt up to the gt40 heads which will be on the 351w?

Currently this motor has got Speed Pro Hyper Pistons .30 over on the block and the rest of the rotories.

Thanks guys

1. Those heads will choke that motor.

2. No your lower intake will not work.

The head bolt holes will have to be drilled to 1/2", the taller deck height spreads the heads higher and further apart, so the 302 intake is not wide enough.

those heads work fine on a 351w with mild mods, and breath good..drill them to 1/2 inch and get a wider 351w intake... if you plan on a good build on a windsor i woul
d ditch the gt40s unless ya port them and get aftermarket.. get 351 true windsor heads like the d0e heads can make great power and breath good..just my 2 cents

Then you should know that building a 358 with gt40 irons is not really a good thing.

That site lists the gt40 (195cfm), gt40p(196cfm) and 351 D0 (181cfm) all are stock, and all at .500 lift.

So anyway, can anyone say lightning motor.

that is a 351w with GT40 heads and GT40 tubular intake. It made a whopping 245 hp. If you want to make sick power like that, put the GT40 heads on the 351 and use a stockish intake *sarcasm*
