True Trac is in...

Last night I finished putting in my true trac and today I filled her up with oil and just got back from my test ride aka damn fun ride, and let me tell you.. thank you to everyone that directed me towards getting that rear. So now as long as it holds up I will be a very happy man. I will post picks of the locker and how the pins just sheered off as soon as I can get my gurls camera from her... and now for the technical part. I put 4 quarts of oil in already and it isn't quite full do you guys think I should put more in. It has an aftermarket cover that I am guessing ups the capacity quite a bit.

Are you using the fill plug on the cover to determine the full level...lol

That fill plug is way too high, pull the plug out of the front of the center section and I bet you have too much oil in it and it will come pouring out.

It's OK, I did the same thing the first time I put a aftermarket diff cover on. The oil will start leaking out of the breather on the passenger side axle tube after awhile.

It will be better to drain it down to the proper level. Save the gear lube you drain out for topping it off later if needed.
