stalling problem

I've had this problem where when driving my car stalls. To remedy this, I pull over and wait a little. At first I thought the problem was with the TFI module. I relocated it to a place where it will remain cool. I know that adding extra length of wire will increases the resistance. I don't think relocating the module to the front of the car will cause too much of an effect. This worked for a little bit. I made sure the fuel pressure was where it is suppose to be. What could be the problem?

at what rpm is it stalling out is it when your stopping or stopped or when your on the throttle it could be your mass air or your fuel pressure regulator might be acting up

there's no set rpm. i've had it stall at a stop light and while cruising at around 45. not sure if it has anything to do with the heat.

mine does the same thing.
after driving for 30 minutes or so it stalls, while driving, i too pull over, wait 5 minutes and she fires right up and drives normal.
i have no clue what it is.
thought it was a bad ground, checked it and its good.
nobody knows what it could be?

I would double check the ground to be sure...does it sputter or just die...

just dies.
i pulled the ground off yesterday, cleaned up the areas of connection, and put it back on, making sure everything had a good connection.

ya the TFI was a big recall, what it stands for is thick film ignition. the film dries out from the heat and causes condensation making it cut out...check that and just skim all your wires make sure none are exposed or arching.

In my case, I did replace the TFI. I went as far as relocating it to a place where it gets some air flow. Weird thing is, it always starts up when the coolant temp is around 120. Is there an instance where if one of the sensors gets to warm the engine cuts out?

still no answers? does anyone else have any suggestions. like i said before, i replaced the tfi module, replaced the ignition coil, msd box is inside the car away from any heat source. is this electrical related or fuel related. keep in mind that this problem only happens when under hood temps get high.

The TPS is the only sensor that will make a car stop running.
