was taking the head studs out to clean the block up and pulled the head dowl pin off it fell into the water jacket right above the lower head bolt cant get it out WTF do I do now my luck is bad lately

blown head gaskets now this

put the car on a rotisserie and it will fall out by itself..

Sounds like something that would happen 2me. Magnet FTW or if engine is coming out, flip that biatch upside down.

matco sells the magnets with the soft bendable shafts if those will help?? good luck

that was like a 1 in a million chance that would have fit in there

Nice! good for you. I just dropped a screw into an alternator at work today and it was the same thing.. only one little spot that the screw would barely fit into and whadda know.. it fell right in. I got it out after 30 mins with a magnet too... Very frustrating, I know your pain, haha.
