once again im learning somthing new abought nos every day...seems to be a good choice to run a start/retard control box......once again found one at a great (steal). ill soon be a pro at this lol never!!!! anyway have any of yall used this & have yall had good performance from it.. give me the 411 on it.

a friend of mine has a zex setup in his car and it is awsome!!! look at what all you want to do to your car and setup around it. with his set up he dropped 1.4 seconds in the 1/4. look at getting a kit with a nmu of some sort and a window switch to help control it. 100+ shot will require a fuel pump, and dont forget the psi guage, purge kit, bottle heater, colder spark plugs, timing setup/controler, and that if you spray a lot you will have to refill a lot. a maximizer kit would be ideal but you look at another psi gauge, and heater

Here is my set-up

Compucar Blowdown Tube
Compucar Blowdown Tube Adapter
Compucar Nitrous Wet Kit
MSD Digital Window Switch
NX Bottle Heater
NX Bottle Opener
Autometer Lunar Nitrous Gauge
Nitrous Activation Panel
SCT 4-Bank Chip
Fuel Pressure Safety Switch

Nitrous is alot of fun...Just get it tuned for it and you should be all good...

anything over 125 shot requires a separate fuel system...according to NOS...if you are going to spray 100 shot, you need to pull 2 degrees of timing from the car...

Nah you dont need another fuel system...

Just a boost-a-pump or a new fuel pump...And well you really dont have to do that...

Its really up to the tuner...

A safe guide is 2* for every 50 shot...

yeah, 2 degrees is safe...The set ups we have built and run, also according to NOS, you can wait until 100 shot to pull timing out

but 2 degrees is safe at 50 shot

If you do the 2* per 50 shot you would pull 4* for a 100 shot...But in all seriousness if you wanted you could pull 3* and still be safe...
