need a tilt wheel?
Im slowly putting together my grey notch and Im lookin for a tilt wheel... I need to see over the steering wheel with race seats and my helmet on but having trouble doing that with my mockup. I cant raise the seat up cause my head/helmet will hit the cage (which is as tucked as can be). Im 6'2" and still trouble. None of my 3 mustangs had a tilt wheel. Any suggestions?
Im thinking about a grant steering wheel thats 14" instead of the 16" stock one. Is this my best bet? |

If you can find an 89 column with tilt, that would be your best bet. Still tilt, no airbags to deal with. I have a grant steering wheel in my car and I don't like how its set-up. The mount it uses extends the wheel toward me about 2". With the shifter already being kinda far forward in these cars, it sucked to have the steering wheel in my face with the shifter being where it was.

Just FYI, I don't think the cage bar can be directly over your head, it will not pass tech that way.
